Importing Review

Product Review MAG offers various methods to seamlessly import reviews onto the platform, primarily utilizing CSV files.

Users can import up to 1000 reviews at once from a previous application or using a CSV file.

Steps to Import:

  • Go to the admin panel of MAG: Product Review.
  • Click on "All Reviews" to access the All Reviews Dashboard.
  • Within the All Reviews Dashboard, locate the "Import" button.
  • Select the “Import Button” & choose the method to import your reviews.

Select the Method You Want to Import Reviews:


Method 1: Import from MyAppGurus CSV:

  • To import reviews from sources such as Amazon, Facebook/Instagram, or any offline sales channel utilize the MAG: Product Review import template. Refer to our comprehensive guide for instructions on preparing the CSV file by theMAG: Product Review import template.

Method 2: Import from a previous app:

  • If you've previously employed a review application and seek to migrate those reviews to MAG: Product Review follows these steps:
    • Navigate to the MAG: Product Review admin panel.
    • Click on "All Reviews" followed by the "Import" button.
    • Then select the platform you were using previously.

Method 3: Import Using Shopify Product Review Application:

  • Install MAG: Product Review from the Shopify app store.
  • Export your reviews from the Shopify Product Review Application.
  • Within the All Reviews Dashboard, locate the "Import" button.
  • Select “Shopify Product Review App” from the dropdown list.
  • Upload your CSV & click import now.

Method 4: Using Import Wizard (Any CSV):

  • If your CSV file isn't from one of the apps we mentioned before, you can still import it using our import wizard.
  • Navigate to the MAG: Product Review admin panel.
  • Click on "All Reviews" followed by the "Import" button.
  • Then select the “Import Wizard(Any CSV) option.

Choose the desired method based on your preference or the source of the reviews you wish to import.

If you face any problems during the import process:

  • Copy and paste your reviews into Google Sheets.
  • Download the reviews as a CSV file.
  • Attempt to import the new CSV file.
